New gamemode

Thales requested a new game mode be made. The original idea Thales came up with would be a co-operative gamemode were you fought against AI controlled opponents, the main gameplay would be similar to the normal pvp mode. We wanted to do something challanging and new however, so the idea we came up with was a co-operative mission based mode were you would fight with your teammates trough various scenarios like escorting an envoy or searching and destroying a high value target. 

For this game mode, I made a game design document which featured basic information, research, a template to design new missions, and all the missions I designed. The goal was for this document to include all information future groups would need to continue to work on the gamemode.

I also made and implemented all the levels I designed into Unity, made new 3D models for these levels, and made new UI elements for the gamemode.

UI/UX

UX flowchart

We wanted a complete revamp of the UI/UX in the game. I analyzed the old UI,  made a UX flowchart, made multiple UI wireframes of which we then chose our favourite ones, the artist in the project then made assets which I implemented in the game. I also made some assets myself.

Sound Design

I also made an adaptive soundtrack for the game and redid the sound effect implementation to make it spatial.  I used FMOD to implement all of this into Unity.
